During the third week of the Breath Therapist Training, we explore the edges of life. We begin with the time before birth and conception. From there, we continue our journey to the other end of the spectrum, to the threshold of death. The theme of the third Breathwork Week is the touchpoint of death at the beginning and end of life. This week is above all about being fully alive and creating a life that truly reflects who you are.
“Of all the Breathwork Weeks, the Death Week was the most powerful and life-changing for me 30 years ago. My fear of death revealed itself to be a fear of life. I found the spark and courage to be fully alive in my whole body and in every cell. This week helped me put the things in my life into the right order of priority and gave me a new direction. My passionate love for this week has remained and has only grown stronger over the years. Sudeva and I are delighted to share this adventure with you!” – Pragita
You can participate in this week if you have previously attended a Breathwork Week, Svarup’s Primal Week, or Tantra Week. If you do not have any of the above experience but would still like to join, please contact us.
The Dance of Fertilisation Is the Beginning of Human Life
Fertilisation creates the first unconscious imprint on our bodies and our lives at a cellular level. From the moment of conception, our parents’ relationship with each other, with sexuality and with having a child influences who we are today.
These early stages of development also affect how freely we dare to breathe in life and be fully alive. Through experiential work, we journey back to the time of conception to explore the imprint it may have left on us. We also reconnect with the free-flowing energy we carry within us – the energy from which everything began.
From the Source of Life, We Move to the Threshold of Death
Death touches us all, and sooner or later we will all experience the profound process that comes with it. We often live our lives thinking about the past or the future, losing the ability to live in the present moment. We imagine that we have an endless amount of time and end up postponing our own needs and dreams until some point in the future.
Most of our fears arise from a fear of the unknown. We often project our fear of life onto death, which is unknown to us. The fear of life and death can prevent us from living courageously and creating a happy life that truly reflects who we are.
Freeing ourselves from these fears can awaken us to our full potential. Looking at death from the perspective of what it can teach us about life inevitably changes the quality of our lives and the way we see life.
We learn to open ourselves to the mystery of life and to the possible gift that death can bring to our lives. Nothing can make the importance of experiencing love, compassion and awareness in our lives clearer than the fact that we are not here forever.
The art of dying is the art of letting go and living in the present moment as if it were our last. With this understanding, we are free to live fully – free to breathe out deeply. We know what is important and what is not.
When we allow the awareness of our mortality to guide us through life, it leads us towards who we truly are, what we have come here to do, and what within us is immortal.

For the group process, it is important that you arrive on time and stay until the end of the course. Please allow plenty of time in your schedule for both your arrival and departure.
Breath Therapist Training
In this training, we learn to work with the breath and the body’s energy. You will learn to use deep breathing as a tool and gain skills for working with other people.
You will learn a variety of therapeutic and meditative breathing techniques that support your inner transformation and that you can also use when working with others. You will reconnect with forgotten energy within you and learn to integrate it into your life without having to suppress it.
Through deep breathing, you can move through significant changes in your own life. Deep, conscious breathing increases your ability to relax and enjoy life.
The Three Stages of the Training:
FIRST STAGE
It consists of three weeks:
1. Breathing into Life
2. Born into Love
3. The Touch of Death to Life
You will go through a personal journey of growth and self-discovery. Through deep breathing, bioenergetics and active meditations, you will release emotional burdens and tension from the body.
SECOND STAGE – INTERNSHIP PHASE
You will go through the same three-week training process again. You will take part partly in the role of an assistant and partly as a participant. Each day includes a one-hour lecture on body types, as well as work on handling different group situations. You will also practise leading active meditations.
THIRD STAGE – ASSISTANT PHASE
You will take part in the same three-week training process, working as an assistant during the training. This is the practical training phase. Each day includes a one-hour lecture on group dynamics.
